Genre: Psychedelic garage rock
I fell in love with this record the first time I heard the opening riff of the first song. It was in the movie High Fidelity, which people love to love or love to hate. I don't choose sides on the movie, but damn, it had some excellent tunes.
The loud, unpolished, reverb-y guitar and gut-fueled vocals of this record grabbed me at once. I went out and bought it as soon as I could, and I still spin it regularly. Garage rock is one of my all time favourite genres, and this is some of the most raw and psych-y. If you've never heard this one, I highly recommend.
